Our client, a well-known and reputable Non-Profit is looking to add a Controller to their team. They are looking for someone who can start immediately and has experience in a non-profit environment!
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CPA designation a bonus, but not required
- Must have 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis
- Experience with multi-company business
- Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations
- Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus
- Strong Excel skills
Responsibilities
· Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes and other financial reports.
· Maintaining the general ledger, payroll and taxes.
· Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
· Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
· Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
· Report analysis and findings to management team.
· Manage the accounting team | HR, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
