A chemical manufacturing company based in the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area was restructuring its finance and accounting team. The client sought talent based in Mexico City to handle day-to-day financial processing to free up bandwidth for their US team.

Challenge:

An Addison Group client shared plans to restructure their finance and accounting department and quickly needed to secure local accounting talent to handle processing. Their US-based F&A team wanted more bandwidth to focus on higher-level strategic decisions, process improvement, ERP implementations, and streamlining their financial incentives. Additionally, outsourcing these general accounting roles with local candidates in Mexico would be more cost-efficient.

Solution:

After consulting with the client, it was determined a successful restructuring required eight roles—including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax Specialists, and a Finance Manager— to build their team in Mexico City.
