We’re excited to announce that we’ve expanded our Healthcare staffing services practice in Washington, D.C.

Jacque Vito, D.C.’s Healthcare Solutions Senior Recruiter, is always ready to help local employers find talent that drives their organization’s business goals.

We spoke with Jacque to get her perspectives on the expansion and share insights from her career journey.

1. What are you most excited about with this new expansion in Washington, D.C.?

I’m most excited to have the opportunity to support a growing vertical while leveraging my recruiting experience in a new way, learning the nuances of our Healthcare practice, and helping scale the team within Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

2. What sets Addison Group’s Healthcare hiring in D.C. apart from other organizations?

Our consultative approach allows us to truly connect with candidates and understand not only the fundamental staffing needs of our clients, but also their vision for the future, their environment, company culture, and many other aspects of staffing that you won’t find on a job description or resume. We take an extra step in our screening process by meeting with each candidate and client face-to-face in order to learn those nuances and apply them to our day-to-day efforts. Ultimately, this approach allows us to deliver top-notch professionals, enforcing the partnerships we develop with our network of clients.

3. Why staffing and what keeps you coming back?

Staffing has given me the opportunity to stay competitive, challenged, and adaptable in an ever-changing market. What excites me most about staffing is the pace and unpredictability of the work. Each day presents a new set of priorities, people, and problems to solve. I’m able to help individuals take meaningful steps in their careers while also partnering with clients during pivotal hiring moments. The mix of problem-solving and relationship building is what makes the work so fulfilling!

4. What does success look like for you in your role?

I started at Addison Group months after I was furloughed from my position as a Sous Chef due to COVID. During the months of unemployment before I joined Addison Group, I realized I wanted to help others who were either in similar situations or who were just ready to take a leap in their career. It has been, and continues to be, my great pleasure supporting individuals in their job search by building trusting relationships and identifying the right position and environment for their next career opportunity. Success for me in this role means understanding the staffing needs and vision of the client and it’s truly rewarding delivering candidates who will be the best fit for both parties. The moments of positive feedback and appreciation from clients and candidates are what makes the everyday grind exciting and are a piece of how I know I have achieved success.

5. The healthcare sector is expected to add 1.9 million roles each year until 2034. Why is Addison expanding healthcare solutions into the DC market?

With the healthcare sector projected to add 1.9 million roles annually through 2034, the demand for skilled and reliable talent is accelerating. Addison Group is expanding its healthcare staffing solutions into the DMV market to meet this need. Being DMV local lets us meet face-to-face and we’ll be able to further enforce our consultative approach and understanding of their market.

6. Tell us a little about Jacque outside of your professional life. How do you spend your time outside of work?

Outside of work I spend my time spoiling my dog, Brody, spending time with family and friends, making time for the gym, and more recently I’ve been heavily consumed with planning my upcoming wedding!

7. What’s a fun fact about Jacque that most people don’t know?

I have never broken a bone! Knock on wood.

8. Any advice you would give to candidates?

I would advise candidates that while skillset and experience are necessary for career growth, being reliable, hardworking, and kind can go a very long way too!
