About the Opportunity
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications & Integration Engineer to support business-critical applications, integrations, and automation initiatives within a professional services environment.
This position requires deep, hands-on experience with Boomi, along with experience supporting enterprise application workflows, data integrations, reporting, and production systems.
The ideal candidate brings experience in a law firm or professional services environment and understands the complexities of integrating business applications across multiple departments.
Job Description
The Sr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations between enterprise applications, with a primary emphasis on the Boomi integration platform.
This individual will also support business-process automation, application configuration, SQL-based reporting, and production troubleshooting. The role requires someone comfortable independently owning integrations from initial development through deployment and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Integration & Automation
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise integrations using Boomi.
- Troubleshoot production integrations, including failed processes, mapping errors, and data discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Support integrations between enterprise applications, including financial, HR, document management, CRM, and business-process platforms.
- Maintain technical documentation, integration workflows, and support procedures.
- Support integration enhancements, migrations, and system upgrades.
Enterprise Application Support
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise application workflows and business rules.
- Support Intapp applications, including intake, conflicts, and related workflow functionality.
- Investigate application errors, performance issues, and integration failures.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate functionality, and resolve production issues.
- Assist with application enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views.
- Support SSRS reporting, including report development, troubleshooting, and distribution.
- Troubleshoot data integrity issues and automated data-processing failures.
- Support existing SSIS integrations and reporting processes.
Production Support & Change Management
- Monitor application and integration performance.
- Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and production deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for critical production issues or scheduled maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of hands-on Boomi integration development and support experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design, develop, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Boomi integrations in production environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, business-process workflows, and application integrations.
- Experience with SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Experience developing or supporting SSRS reports.
- Familiarity with SSIS and automated data-processing workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving application logs, integration failures, and data validation.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and support application enhancements.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage assigned technical deliverables and production support responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a law firm or other professional services organization.
- Experience configuring, supporting, or integrating Intapp applications, including Intapp Open, Conflicts, or related products.
- Experience supporting DealCloud, iManage, Aderant, or comparable professional services applications.
- Familiarity with legal intake, conflicts management, document management, or related business processes.
- Experience with Intapp Integrate, Integration Builder, or CPI integration rules.
- Experience maintaining Python scripts or applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
