What You Will Do
Provide first-level technical support for end users across office and manufacturing environments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and network-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
Support daily IT operations by resolving tickets, configuring equipment, managing user accounts, and assisting with infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional looking to expand their technical skills while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
What We Require
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or related IT role.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and administration.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems and common business software.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Experience with Active Directory user administration, including password resets and permissions management.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center handling low-level support requests.
- Knowledge of network cabling, patch panels, cable terminations, and basic cable runs.
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar ticketing platforms.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting computer hardware.
- Strong team-player mentality with a positive, customer-focused approach.
- Recent graduates with internship experience, home lab experience, or one year of hands-on IT experience are encouraged to apply.
Additional Responsibilities
- Respond to technical support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and business-critical software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets within Active Directory.
- Assist users with wired and wireless network connectivity, VPN access, and remote support needs.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support computer hardware and software.
- Perform basic network cabling work, cable replacements, and physical connectivity troubleshooting.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures within the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Participate in hardware upgrades, software deployments, and IT improvement initiatives.
- Follow cybersecurity policies, IT standards, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing IT operations.
