Addison Group's client is currently searching for an HR Consultant to assist in a job description and compensation analysis. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site) based in Reston, VA paying $34-35/hr and is a 3-4 month project. Apply here to learn more!
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Description Development:
- Partner with hiring managers and department heads to create detailed and accurate job descriptions for all positions within the organization.
- Conduct thorough job analysis to understand the key responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements for each role.
- Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date, reflect the evolving needs of the organization, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Compensation Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive compensation analysis to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards and regional market trends.
- Analyze internal salary structures and pay scales to ensure internal equity and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide recommendations for adjustments to compensation packages based on market data, job complexity, and individual performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on job description development, compensation analysis, and HR consulting.
- Strong knowledge of job analysis techniques, compensation principles, and HR best practices.
- Experience conducting comprehensive compensation analysis, including market pricing, salary surveys, and internal pay equity reviews.
- Proven ability to develop accurate and detailed job descriptions that effectively communicate job roles, responsibilities, and qualifications.
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating job roles and conducting job classification using established methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
