Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in front office management, hotel operations, guest services, or hospitality leadership.
  • Previous leadership experience within a luxury, upscale hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong background leading, developing, and motivating front office teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Experience managing hotel operations, guest satisfaction, staffing, scheduling, and departmental performance.
  • Knowledge of property management systems, guest service platforms, and hospitality technology.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring a Director of Front Office on behalf of our client, a luxury hospitality organization located in Nashville. This role will oversee front office operations, lead service initiatives, and ensure a consistent, elevated guest experience from arrival through departure.

The Director of Front Office will provide strategic leadership to the front office team, improve operational performance, and create a culture focused on exceptional hospitality. The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality leader who can balance guest engagement, team development, and operational excellence.

Industry: Hospitality / Luxury Hotel Operations

Work Schedule: Full-time schedule with flexibility to support business needs, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and high-volume periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all front office operations to ensure outstanding guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Manage, coach, and develop front office team members through training, feedback, and performance support.
  • Ensure guests receive a seamless experience throughout check-in, check-out, and their overall stay.
  • Maintain a strong presence in guest-facing areas to support service delivery and team engagement.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns, special accommodations, and service recovery situations professionally.
  • Partner with housekeeping, engineering, valet, and other departments to ensure guest needs are addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor department performance, identify operational improvements, and implement solutions.
  • Support budget management, labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain consistent service standards while promoting a positive and accountable team culture.
  • Utilize hospitality systems and reporting tools to support operational decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
