We are excited to announce that we will be expanding our non-clinical healthcare talent solutions to Cleveland, Ohio! We’re thrilled to be in this location and to start providing people roles in this area. Our SVP of Healthcare Scott Galanos will be building out this new exciting initiative and shares insights into what he is most excited about when building out the office and why he has loved working with Addison Group for 10 years.

What are you most proud of during your journey with Addison Group?

I am most proud of the lives I have been able to impact not only internally at Addison Group but externally with our clients & candidates. I’ve been with Addison Group for almost 10 years, and I’ve seen incredible growth through this organization, not just in our teams, but in Addison Group overall. Much of that growth is attributed to how many people we’ve helped along the way.

Over those 10 years, I’m proud to have been able to impact thousands of lives. Growth is one aspect of it – I’m proud to be a part of a company that has seen immense build over the years, but I know that wouldn’t be possible without us hiring the right people along the way.  

What are you most excited about with starting this new office location in Cleveland?

Addison Group has allowed me to move back to Cleveland to be near my family and start an office. I could not be more grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to working with some of the world’s best healthcare systems. Opening an office in Cleveland has been on my radar for quite some time, and I know it’s a great market for Addison Group, but also for our clients and candidates.

This will be my fourth time starting a new office and I am lucky enough to take on the challenge with Hannah Stone, a respected leader at Addison Group and a friend of mine.

What are your main goals with this new initiative?

When starting a new office there are a lot of moving pieces, my main goal is to get my team the resources they need to be successful in a new market with new clients. When I can provide the team everything they need to do well in what they do, we all grow as an organization.

What sets Addison Group’s healthcare talent solutions apart from the rest?

That’s easy! Our team is the best in the nation. We are close-knit, motivated, and highly talented – we truly are people-first and relationship-based. Our success starts with our people, from our leadership team to our recruiters, to our business development managers, to all the individuals that make us who we are, we couldn’t do it without them.

We also take the time to truly build our relationships, whether understanding our client’s needs or taking the time to get to know our candidates. We don’t see a lot of turnover, and that adds another great differentiator to the clients we come in contact with.

What is the biggest career lesson you’ve learned so far?

The biggest lesson I have learned is that it’s OK to fail and make mistakes. I’ve been able to grow so much as a person because I have been given the autonomy to re-think and re-vamp certain processes to help meet internal and external business needs. When new ideas fail, we’re encouraged to go back to the drawing board and try again. As they say “you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take!”

What is one thing you want your clients and candidates to know about Addison’s culture?

We are a people-first organization from the top down at Addison Group – we always no matter what put people first. My goal is to help build company culture by working with the best people while keeping a boutique feel. Also, we are dedicated to filling the position with not just any candidate, but with the right candidate.

We’re not just handing over a resume. A win for our clients is a win for us, and we truly care about the candidates we work with and the positions we are trying to fill.
