We are excited to announce that we will be expanding our human resource and administrative talent solutions to Fort Worth, Texas! We’re thrilled to be in this location and start providing people roles in this area. We are also excited to share more about Sydney Parker, Branch Manager, she will be leading this initiative in Fort Worth. We recently sat down with Sydney to learn more about this exciting opportunity and hear what it means to be a part of the new Fort Worth office for Addison Group.

What are you most proud of during your journey with Addison Group?

When I joined the Dallas team almost three years ago, we were a mighty team of 6. In the last three years, we have grown to an amazing team of 20 all while posting record-breaking numbers and promoting almost a dozen people on the team. This incredible growth has allowed for the current expansion into Fort Worth. I also am moving from a recruiting role into a sales position which is totally different, but I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ahead.  

What are you most excited about with starting this new office location in Fort Worth?

Fort Worth is my home and I’m beyond excited to grow this incredible market that is right here in my backyard! The Fort Worth market feels very grassroots to me, and that is what I love about this location. It feels like the kind of market where we cannot just chat about the role itself, but talk about our families, our interests, and really get to know our clients on a deep level and establish those relationships over time.  

What are your main goals with this new initiative?

My main goal is to be an amazing partner to our clients here in Fort Worth while growing market share and firmly planting our Cowtown roots. I want to build a profitable branch while supporting and growing the team around me. We are lucky that the Fort Worth market is pretty much untapped – we know that one of our biggest assets is being able to see our clients face to face and have those interactions that lead to meaningful role placements. 

What sets Addison Group’s HR/Admin talent solutions apart from the rest?

I believe that each of our team members feel called to this profession. We truly care about each of our candidates and clients to the point they become friends and family to us. I have candidates that I’ve been working since I first started that I still talk to monthly. I think our ability to build these long-lasting relationships is something that is missing from the industry. At the core, Addison Group puts our candidates and clients first by maintaining these relationships where a lot of our competitors have lost this touch.  

We are in the unique position to provide life-changing opportunities to our candidates and impact lasting change within our client organizations. We take that job very seriously on both fronts! 

What is the biggest career lesson you’ve learned so far?

Always be prepared for the unexpected! You never know what’s going to come at you from a client or candidates and learning to let things roll off your back is important. Don’t let one small thing ruin your day, your week, your month, or even your year! Every day in our industry creates the opportunity for new challenges and how we choose to respond to those challenges is what sets us apart 

What is one thing you want your clients and candidates to know about Addison’s culture?

Cultivating a positive culture and celebrating every little win that we have on our team has been a key element of both Addison Group’s culture and Dallas office culture, and we are excited to bring that to the Fort Worth market. Were a team that celebrates every win, big or small, and there is no greater win than a job well done! If you could peek behind the curtain, so to speak, you would see a team that laughs, cheers, floods your email with motivating memes and never misses an opportunity to pull out the confetti and streamers! We’re really all about celebrating our clients as well. A win for us is when we can help our clients find the perfect candidate and fill that need for them. It’s almost too fun to call it a job!

Sydney Parker- Branch Manager, Addison Group

Sydney Parker, Branch Manager

Sydney Parker is originally from Northern California and attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa (Go Bows!) before moving to Texas in 2018. Sydney was pursuing a career in social work before finding her way into the staffing world in 2019. She found that staffing was the perfect mix of being able to help others and make an impact in their life, while every day being something new and exciting. Sydney was quickly promoted to Senior Recruiter and eventually Recruiting Manager in 2021. She helped to build and grow the Dallas recruiting team while training and mentoring others.

Having learned so much from the success and growth of Dallas, Sydney is very excited to be expanding into the Fort Worth market as the Branch Manager.
