About Our Client:

Our client, a well-established education organization, is seeking a highly skilled Sr HR Generalist to lead various human resources functions and initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure the effective development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.


Job Description:

The Sr HR Generalist will work directly with leadership to support the development, implementation, and management of HR policies and processes. This position will oversee HR operations, including payroll, workforce planning, employee engagement, compensation, and performance management. The Sr HR Generalist will also provide guidance on employee relations, diversity initiatives, and conflict resolution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to establish and communicate HR policies and strategies.
  • Manage payroll processes and resolve related issues in collaboration with the central HR team.
  • Lead compensation reviews to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Provide HR consulting to managers on performance, terminations, and employee development.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Conduct workforce planning and position reviews to align with organizational needs.
  • Develop and deliver specialized training programs to meet departmental goals.
  • Collaborate on university-wide HR committees and recommend policy updates.
  • Analyze HR data and generate reports to guide decision-making on staffing, compensation, and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR management experience.
  • Strong consulting skills in employee relations, compensation, and policy implementation.
  • Proficiency with HR systems like SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with experience managing teams.

Additional Details:

  • This is a full-time, on-site position.
  • The role will report to the HR Director and work closely with the HR team to support the public safety department's HR functions.
