A Level 1 Trauma, Academic Facility


Job Description:

The role involves coding complex medical cases in a 100% remote setting. The facility uses Epic and 3M systems and requires AHIMA certification.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coding complex medical cases such as cardio/chest pain, ortho, fractures, gunshot wounds, sepsis, burns, intense trauma, and moms/NICU/peds
  • Utilizing Epic and 3M systems for accurate coding
  • Ensuring compliance with all coding guidelines and regulations


Qualifications:

  • CCS certification from AHIMA or any AHIMA certification
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma, Academic Facility
  • Proficiency in coding complex cases
