HR Onboarding Coordinator


Responsibilities:

  • Manages the onboarding of new hires, including (but not limited to): credential verifications, background checks, references, and pre-hire drug & occupational health screens
  • Prepares, reviews, and distributes offer letters, job descriptions, and other documentation related to personnel management
  • Oversees and troubleshoots issues with all associated HRIS systems for candidates and hiring managers, as needed, and manual processes that may need tracking, including but not limited to: follow-up with newly hired employees and hiring managers when paperwork is missing or incomplete
  • Maintains frequent correspondence with candidates, to prepare for their hire; acts as a point of contact for support of the new hire during and after the onboarding process
  • Attends staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required and participates as part of the recruitment team
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources
  • Healthcare background preferred
  • PHR and/or SPHR preferred
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS software
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, to be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and productively, without supervision
  • Excellent customer service, business writing, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
